Quality Control

Implementing Quality Control Features in Shop Tweak

The Quality Control (QC) feature is an essential tool for maintaining high service standards. It allows for the creation, management, and enforcement of detailed quality control checklists tailored to different stages of service delivery, ensuring consistent quality and comprehensive oversight across all service packages.

Creating and Managing Quality Control Checklists

Shop Tweak’s QC system is flexible, enabling customization of checklists for various service scenarios, from basic maintenance to comprehensive detailing. Each checklist can be specifically designed and assigned to individual service packages, ensuring quality standards are met across all services.

1. Establishing New Quality Control Categories

To create a new quality control category, navigate to the "Categories" section within the Quality Control section of Shop Tweak. Click the "New Quality Control" button located at the top right corner.

Enter the category name and select "Create". After creating the category, click on it and select the "New List" button to add a quality control checklist specific to that category.

Each quality control category and checklist should be tailored to match the specific service packages they are assigned to.

2. Customizing Categories

Customize any quality control category by selecting the "Edit" button. This allows users to rename or delete categories to adapt to changes in service offerings or operational needs.

3. Adding and Configuring Quality Control Checklists

To create detailed checklists, first select a category, then click the "New List" button within it. This organizes quality control into distinct phases such as pre-service checks and post-service reviews.

Begin by naming the list, then add the specific tasks required. Once completed, click "Create" to publish the list.

Once created, use the pencil icon to bulk edit features or the garbage icon to delete the list. To add tasks manually, click the "New Task" box. Rearrange tasks by dragging, delete individual tasks using the garbage icon, and click "Update" to save any changes.

Tasks can be dynamically added, modified, or removed from checklists to adapt to specific job requirements or service updates.

For best results, organize your checklists into phases rather than one lengthy list. For example, create separate lists for pre-service checks, in-service tasks, and post-service reviews.

4. Enhancing Quality Control Checklists with Photo Verification

Enhance your checklists by including tasks that require staff to upload before-and-after photos to the appointment’s booking page. These images help establish clear quality standards and visually document the service provided.

Enabling staff to upload media not only ensures adherence to your standards but also helps safeguard against claims.

Linking Quality Control Checklists to Service Packages

Link quality control categories and their respective checklists to specific service packages to ensure consistent service delivery according to predefined quality standards. Navigate to the "Packages" section in Shop Tweak, select a package to edit, and under the "Quality Control" tab, choose the appropriate Quality Control Category to assign. Marking Orders as Complete in Booking System

This integration requires staff to complete the designated quality control checklists before marking an order as complete in the system. To learn more about marking an order as complete, see QC Integration.
