QC Integration
Integrating Quality Control Checklists with Booking Completion
In Shop Tweak, confirming the completion of a booking on the booking page relies on the completion and documentation of predefined Quality Control (QC) checklists. This essential step verifies that each service adheres to established quality standards before being officially marked as "completed" in the system.
This section outlines the best practices and procedures for using quality control checklists to validate service completion.
Steps to Finalize a Booking in Shop Tweak
To mark a booking as complete, staff must access the appointment's dedicated booking page. For guidance on locating this page, click here. On the booking page, staff should click the "Start Checkout" button. Before finalizing the booking, staff must complete the quality control checklists associated with the service package provided.
1. How to Complete Quality Control Checklists During Checkout
During the checkout process, locate the quality control checklists at the top of the page. Staff should check off each item on the checklist and then click the "Mark All Complete" button. This step must be repeated for each checklist associated with the service package.
A booking can only be marked as complete after all associated quality control checklists have been finalized.
2. Finalizing Order Details and Payment Information
After completing the quality control checklists, staff should enter the final details of the order, including the charged price and the job completion time.
It is crucial to record the exact job completion time to facilitate accurate payroll calculations. For more information, see Calculating Payroll.
Next, update the order status to reflect whether the customer has been invoiced, the tax applied, and if the payment has been received. Finally, click the "Submit" button to finalize the order.
If adjustments are needed for a checklist item due to specific customer requests or unforeseen circumstances, add relevant notes to the activity log on the booking page to maintain records.
Synchronizing Client and Staff Data Upon Order Completion
Upon marking an order as complete, the system automatically updates the client's data to reflect the final service price and job completion time, and it changes the status from "In Progress" to "Completed" in the booking history.
Additionally, the profiles of staff assigned to the job will be automatically updated to reflect their total number of jobs completed, the cumulative job value, and their specific job assignments. This data can be filtered by date, simplifying the calculation of payouts based on completed jobs within a specified period. For more information, see Staff Management.
